To create an auto playlist

1. Click Media Library.
2. Click the Playlists button, and then click New Auto Playlist.
3. In the Auto Playlist name box, type a name for the new auto playlist.
4. Specify criteria for the items in the auto playlist, and then click OK.

   The auto playlist is updated each time you open it.

Notes

• You can rename an auto playlist at any time by right-clicking the auto playlist in Media Library, and then clicking Rename.
• You can save an auto playlist as a regular playlist by right-clicking the auto playlist, and then clicking Save as Playlist. After an auto playlist is saved as a regular playlist, the contents of the playlist are no longer updated automatically.
• Some of the default auto playlists are generated based on an auto rating, usually of three or four stars.
• This feature is only available on select versions of Windows. For more information, see Special features.
